This Week:
Symphonic- turn in recordings into google classroom asap (two recordings were due over the break)
2/23, Monday- concert band woodwind rehearsal 3-4, yay band 3:30-4.
2/24, Tuesday- symphonic practice 3-4:30
2/26, Thursday- pizza party for Allstate and district goal, concert band full rehearsal 3-4:30
Upcoming: 3/3 MPA day for all bands
MPA is state contest. It is open and free to the public. It is at baker high school auditorium. You can wear MPA wear to school
Yay band:
7:30 report to band room (wear all black to school)
7:45 leave for baker
8:50 warmup
9:30 perform (no sightreading)
10:00 leave for Davidson
10:30 arrive at Davidson
Concert band:
12:50 report to band room (between 5th and 6th period)
1:00 leave Davidson
2:20 warmup
3:00 perform
3:30 sightread
4:00 pack up and watch bands (If you do a trip return form your parent can pick you up)
6:30 leave Baker
7:00 arrive at Davidson
Symphonic band:
Symphonic can get an early dismissal and drive themselves. You can’t drive other people. Let me know who is planning to get picked up directly from Baker after sight reading.

Parent Reminders:
Mr. Messer's "room" is on the MCPSS app. Please download the app on your device. If anyone cannot join the class they are supposed to be in, parent or student, email Mr. Messer and let him know. There are rooms for each period of band, color guard, and percussion.
