Our Halloween Concert is Tuesday, October 27!

WEEK OF OCTOBER 26–31

Tuesday, Oct. 27 – Sound of Mobile Halloween Concert

• 5:30 PM – Student call time. Concert Band students must be seated in the band room, instruments out and ready to play. We will do a quick warmup and run a few spots.

• 6:00 PM – Barton Academy begins performing. Davidson will perform following Barton Academy.

• Repertoire – YayBand: Goblin Groove | Concert Band: Thawing, Lifelight | Symphonic Band: Nefertatu, Midnight Ride

• Barton Academy Bake Sale in the lobby after the concert. Please support the Barton Band!

Thursday, Oct. 29 – Away Football Game at BC Rain

• We will travel to BC Rain Thursday evening. Game-day call time and additional details will be announced.

Friday, Oct. 30 – HST Playing Assignment Due

• Woodwinds and brass: HST playing assignment. Percussion: assigned snare excerpt.

• A metronome must be audible in the background of your recording.

Friday, Nov. 6 – Possible Playoff Game (NOT CONFIRMED)

• We will share the location, call time, and other details once we know whether we are playing. Please keep this date available.

Saturday, Nov. 7 – HSL Playing Assignment Due

• Percussion: assigned mallet excerpt. A metronome must be audible in the recording.
