Letters are earned in Band by earning 18 total points based on the point system listed below. Bars are earned by earning an additional 18 points (for example 18= letter, 36= letter and bar, 54= letter and two bars. The points add up each year. They don't have to be earned all in one year.

Parent Reminders:
Mr. Messer's "room" is on the MCPSS app. Please download the app on your device. If anyone cannot join the class they are supposed to be in, parent or student, email Mr. Messer and let him know. There are rooms for each period of band, color guard, and percussion.
