Must be current on band fees.
Must have tried out for honor band or Allstate to get an interview.
Drum major tryouts are 4/2.
Thursday, 3/12 - Leadership field trip. Wear Davidson polo.

Looking Forward:
3/19-3/20 - District Honor band at Daphne. Field trip forms with all info is in front of Dr. Beattie's office. You must attend all rehearsals to participate. Let Dr. Beattie know ASAP if you cannot do it so alternates can be notified.
4/2 at 7pm - Candlelight Chamber Concert in the bandroom. Most symphonic students are involved in this, however the program and musicians will be set by the end of March.
4/20-4/24 - Color guard tryouts 5:30-7 ($20 tryout fee)
4/27, 5/4, & 5/11 - Rookie Camp - winds and guard 3:30-5:30
4/30 - Band banquet & Spring concert
5 pm - Dinner and awards
6:30 pm - Concert
5/18 - DHS Graduation
Symphonic and selected band members call time 5pm at USA Mitchell Center
Mr. Messer will notify those chosen to participate in this event closer to the event date.

Student Weekly Reminders:
Practice minutes due for the contest band at the end of every month. Minutes Submission Form
200 minutes for section members
400 minutes for section leaders

Parent Reminders:
Mr. Messer's "room" is on the MCPSS app. Please download the app on your device. If anyone cannot join the class they are supposed to be in, parent or student, email Mr. Messer and let him know. There are rooms for each period of band, color guard, and percussion.
