Drum Major tryouts are on Wednesday, April 1st during 5th, 6th and 7th periods. The tryout music is above. You will conduct until 2:00 on the video. Also, some of the conducting portion will be based on the drum major video on the right. Practice the techniques they perform in the video

4/1 - Drum Major tryouts and leadership form should be turned in by this day. Your fees for last year must be paid as well as the first fee for this year.

4/2 at 7pm - Candlelight Chamber Concert in the band room. Most symphonic students are involved in this, however the program and musicians will be set by the end of March.
4/20-4/24 - Color guard tryouts 5:30-7 ($20 tryout fee)
4/27, 5/4, & 5/11 - Rookie Camp - winds and guard 3:30-5:30
4/30 - Band banquet & Spring concert
5 pm - Dinner and awards

5/18 - DHS Graduation
Symphonic and selected band members call time 5pm at USA Mitchell Center

Mr. Messer's "room" is on the MCPSS app. Please download the app on your device. If anyone cannot join the class they are supposed to be in, parent or student, email Mr. Messer and let him know. There are rooms for each period of band, color guard, and percussion.
