Monday 2/9 - Yay band practice 3:30-4 PM; Dr. Beattie at professional development during the school day.
Tuesday 2/10 - Dr. Petersen from USA will come to listen to concert and symphonic bands.
Thursday 2/12 -Symphonic in school clinic from 12 - 12:30 in the auditorium
Marching in Mystic Stripers parade; call time 5P; Parents sign up to volunteer
Wear full uniform; wear solid black beanie under hat.
Wear solid long black socks. If you have your beanie or jacket at home, bring it to school before Thursday.
Mrs. Jackson will be there after 4PM. Make sure you get your stuff around 4:30 so you are fully dressed BY 5PM.
Friday 2/13 - Leadership goes to St. Mark's Mardi Gras parade. Leave after second period. Return to school around 11:30. Wear band polo.
STUDENTS: Make sure to take instruments home Friday for the Mardi Gras break. There will be a couple recordings that will be due over the break.

Parent Reminders:
Mr. Messer's "room" is on the MCPSS app. Please download the app on your device. If anyone cannot join the class they are supposed to be in, parent or student, email Mr. Messer and let him know. There are rooms for each period of band, color guard, and percussion.
